Elsie May Hanson

Elsie was a devoted wife and mother. She was married to Donald Henry Hanson for 23 years until his passing in 1975. Elsie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was very independent and loved to work, travel and entertain her friends in her home. Elsie was called home to with her lord quietly and peacefully at her home with Pastor Michael, her children and grandchildren at her side. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her memory and spirit will live on in those she left behind to one day be reunited again. Elsie is survived by her beloved son; Michael Hanson, daughter-in-law; Ruth and their children; Niles, Christopher and Timothy, son; Steven Hanson; daughter-in-law; Eileen and their children, Henry and Gavin and sisters, Lisa May Hunter and Helen Phillips. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kaiser Permanente, Bereavement Service 12200 Bellflower Blvd. Downey, CA 90242, may be payable to Kaiser Foundation Hospice.
