Elodia (Lodia) Villanueva

Lodie, 92, passed away in the early morning of April 4, 2015, surrounded by family. She was born June 17, 1922 in Jerome, Arizona, daughter of Gustavo and Ruperta Sanchez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben "Mr. Clean" Villanueva and her grandson, Tommy Villanueva. Lodie moved from Arizona in the early 1940's where she lived in San Pedro until her passing. She is survived by her children, Alfred (Nidia), Edgar (Jennie), Martha (Carlos) and Ronnie (Melissa); 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9th from 5-9pm with a rosary beginning at 7pm. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, April 10th at 11:00 am at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. Family requests that Mexican Festive Attire be worn to honor Lodie.
