Elle Labarbera

Revelle LaBarbera, resident of Seal Beach, passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 79. She was born on November 2, 1942, in Chicago, IL to Vincent and Frances LaBarbera, and the family moved to Los Angeles in the early 1950’s. She worked most of her life and retired after 20 years working as the V.P. of Finance with the family business, D.V. Industries. Working in South LA gave her an understanding of the difficulties experienced in communities of poverty. She cared for children and families in poverty, giving generously to provide for food and education, and she served for many years on the Kingdomworks SDG Foundation in her commitment to philanthropy. Dedicated to her family, she planned and gave generously to provide for the well-being and independence of her nieces and nephews. Revelle was a strong, independent, spirited woman not afraid to speak her mind. She is survived by her brother Carl LaBarbera and his wife Robin, sister-in-law Christine LaBarbera, nephews Vincent, Dominic, and Ben LaBarbera, nieces Rachel Vreeland and Nicole DeMartini, and three grandnieces and five grandnephews. Revelle was predeceased by her father Vincent, mother Frances, and brother Peter. Services will be held at Green Hills Mortuary.
