Elizabeth Hostinak

On April 26th, 2025, Elizabeth Hostinak, 20, passed away in her hometown of Redondo Beach, California. She was born in California on December 30th, 2004, and spent her entire life living on the West Coast. She loved being with her friends, her family, her pets, and spending time in the kitchen baking and preparing meals for the people she loved. Food was her love language.
Elizabeth was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and smart. And in the words of those who knew her best, she could surprise you with a cutting wit while offering up a subtle smile that would always let you know how special you were to her. She spent her early years in Seattle, Washington before moving back to the Los Angeles area during middle school. While in Redondo Beach and Torrance she met some of her best friends and enjoyed spending time with cousins and family living in Southern California, traveling, exploring her love of nature and the beauty of the earth. She graduated from Torrance South High school in 2023 and began pursuing a college degree.
Elizabeth is survived by her mother and father, Cheryl and Rob Hostinak, her brother, Matthew Hostinak, her maternal grandfather, Dave Birch, her paternal grandmother, Carol Hostinak, as well as tons of family and friends who loved her and will miss her greatly.
