Elisa Potts

Born in San Pedro, Elisa finished her local education and graduated from High School in 1953. Dental school was next with full time work in local dentistry. In 1963 she quit work to enter marriage and start a family. When children’s early years was completed, she re-entered the work force at Los Angeles Special Education Center at 7th. and Weymouth St. in San Pedro. She fell in love with that work, and stayed for 29 years. At retirement she traveled to many destinations with her husband by plane, train, auto, and cruise line. Her real love was her children and grandchildren. Her real happiness and joy were teaching them about our Creator, and his son Jesus, with stories in the bible. Her life included friendships from high school, work, church, and casual acquaintances that lasted a lifetime. She left behind her husband, 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral service and burial at Green Hills Memorial Park 27501 S. Western Ave. Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. Time: 11:30 a.m. for service. All are invited to gathering at Elisa’ residence after service approximately 2:00 p.m.
