Elida Maria Marroquin De Diaz

Elida Maria Marroquin de Diaz, the daughter of Santos and Ofelia Marroquin, passed away on February 1, 2014 at the age of 71. She was born on June 16, 1942 in El Cercado, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and had been a recent resident of Tehachapi, California. Elida is survived by her beloved husband, Octavio Diaz Lizarraga; children, Dr. Aida (Jake) Cairns, Ariel (Andrea) Diaz Marroquin, Armida Diaz Marroquin, Amina (Cedric) Van Der Meulen, Amilcar Diaz and Ariadne (Dev) Diaz Marroquin; 4 grandchildren and siblings, Guadalupe, Gloria, Elizenda, Ofelia and Cesar. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Genoveva Marroquin and Santos Marroquin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 9am-2pm at Green Hills Mortuary - Villetta Room in Rancho Palos Verdes. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11am at St. John Fisher Catholic Church followed by interment at Green Hills Memorial Park.
