Elfida Reyes

Elfida “Sylvia” Reyes of Wilmington, California, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2020, in her home with family by her side.

Sylvia was born on January 10, 1951 to Pauline Gallagos in Roswell, New Mexico. She retired as a secretary from the Gardena Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. But she will be remembered for her skills as a hairdresser. She will be remembered for her fighting spirit and love for family.

She leaves behind her husband of 50 plus years, Eduardo Reyes. They were married on August 5th, 1970 and had three children. Their sons Eduardo Jr and Armando, and daughter Liberty. She loved her grandchildren the most: Renae, Andrea, Armando Jr, Miranda and Noah.

Sylvia’s viewing will be held on Monday September 28th from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. Her services will be Tuesday September 29th at 2:00pm. Her burial will take place on Thursday October 1st at 2:00pm. All events will take place at Green Hills Mortuary, located at: 27501 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
