Elaine R. Yagawa

Elaine R. Yagawa, the daughter of Torao and Misuko Taketa, passed away on July 23, 2015 at the age of 91. She was born in Hawaii on June 1, 1924 and was a longtime resident of Gardena, California. She is survived by her daughter, Jaclyn (Scott) Sakamoto, her children Blair Aihara, Garrett (Cindy) Aihara, Rachel Sakamoto, and daughter Dawn Yagawa, and her children Heather (Randy) Chandler-Garrett, and Jason Chandler; sisters Teruko Kimura, Mitsu (Bob) Epp, Sachiko (Charles) Inagaki, and Yayoi (Maurice) Shimabukuro. Visitation will be held 3:30pm – 5:30pm Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Green Hills Mortuary, and funeral service will be held at 1pm Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Green Hills Mortuary.
