Powell, Eileen was 87 and passed away in Long Beach on April 29, 2014.
She was born and lived in Long Beach her entire life. She graduated from Loyola Marymount College. She raised five children and was an active member in the community through University Women's Club, Meals on Wheels, docent to Ranch Los Alamitos, and the YMCA.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert W. Powell, and is survived by her 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great- grand child.
A private family memorial will be held.
