Edwin Rodney Berry

Edwin Rodney Berry died on February 9, 2014. He was a long-time resident of Rancho Palos Verdes, California and was preceded in death by his wife Beth, the love of his life, in 2009, and by his parents, Edwin and Mary Berry.

Ed was a 55-year employee of The Aero Corporation where he worked in the aerospace industry until he retired in 2012. Ed was originally from Barlow, Kentucky where he graduated from high school. He then earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 1954 and a Masters of Science degree in Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 1958.

Ed was an active tennis and bridge player and an accomplished target shooter where he won many tournaments and awards.

While Ed and Beth did not have any children, he was greatly loved by his friends and his only surviving relatives, a cousin, Michael A. Owsley of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and his four nieces, Lisa Owsley Freeman and Lana Owsley Priest of Bowling Green, Lorie Owsley Averitt of Lexington, Kentucky, and Michele Owsley of Nashville, Tennessee.
