Edward Machado, Jr.

Edward Machado Jr., the son of Edward and Dolores Machado Sr., passed away peacefully on May 22, 2013 at the age of 89. He was born on March 1, 1924 in San Pedro, California where he had been a life long resident. He was a retired longshoreman and merchant seaman and a member of the Elks club for 17 years. His passions included drawing and boxing. Edward is survived by his loving children, Norma Machado Garcia, Mary Rendon and Arthur Ross; grandchildren, Josephine Garcia, Christina Garcia and Raymond Edward Garcia; great grandchildren, Shaun Andrew Brenk, Abigale Grace Ramirez and Julio Levi Ramirez; siblings, Anna Svicarevich and John Machado and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mercedes Cardinas Machado and son, Carlos Morales, and brother, Willie Machado.
