Eduardo "Eddy" Ramos lost his 18 month battle with bile duct cancer on Dec. 5th. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, children and dogs. He is survived by his wife Alicia, his children Adrian and Lucia, his parents Paulino and Aurora Ramos, 4 siblings, 10 nieces and nephews and tons of close friends and family. Eddy was the light of our life and made an impact on everyone he met. His warm dimpled smile and positive attitude lit up everyone around him. He made friends wherever he went. Eddy loved to work with his hands. After buying their home Eddy and Alicia loved to do DIY home projects. He loved to upcycle! His motto was one mans trash in another persons treasure. After being diagnosed with a rare difficult to treat cancer Eddy decided that he was going to live each day to the fullest and make memories with his family. He never let his cancer or the side effects of treatments take away his positive attitude! His motto became "make everyday an adventure". And he had many adventures, Disney cruise, great wolf lodge, snorkeling with sting rays, road trips and white water kayaking with other young cancer patients. He was an inspiration and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers Eddy would like donations made to the Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach or The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
