Edric Glendon Hicks

Edric Glendon Hicks, 49, of Carson California, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2014. Born in Nashville Tennessee, to Richard and Elexzine Hicks soon after Edric's birth the family relocated to Carson, Ca.

Edric attended Leapwood Elementary, Curtis Jr. High, and graduated from Carson High. He played football and ran track. This is where he met his lifetime buddies Mark and Brian Lafoon, KB (Kevin Bryan) and Roderick.

Edric worked at LAX and owned New Look Auto detailing. When he relocated to Las Vegas he worked for Interstate Plumbing Air conditioning.

Edric had a zeal for music, dancing, being sociable, hanging with his boys, sports and he loved being an usher.
Edric was a faithful church member of Glory Christian Fellowship Int. under the leadership of Pastor Alton Trimble. He also liked to attend men's fellowship retreats.

As we all know Edric had a unique way of getting his point across to you, of which we will truly miss the most. He was very protective of his loved ones and he had mad love for them. Edric had a big heart and would do anything that he could for you.

Edric is survived by his wife Adrienne Hicks of 13 years, daughter Brittney Hicks, sons Elijah Hicks, Ezekiel Hicks and Everett Butler, father Richard Hicks, brother Anthony Hicks, sisters Kimberly Hicks, Monica Hicks and Vanessa Hicks and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
Proceeding him in death is his mother and grandmother.

Edric went back home to help with the care of his father where they developed an unbreakable bond as best friends.
