Edna Marie Garnet

Born October 10, 1930 in Gadsden Alabama, the Torrance resident died February 12, 2020 of natural causes at the age of 89. In 1948, Edna married William Garnet Jr. and together she and William lived a joyful and fulfilling life that took them from Alabama to Memphis to where they finally settled in southern California.

They were married for 66 years before William’s passing in 2014. Edna enjoyed traveling where her adventures took her to places like Italy, Spain, Greece, Canada, Mexico and many more.

Edna is survived by their only son Greg Garnet, daughter in law Holly Garnet and grandson Ryan Garnet.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11:30am in the Cove Suite at Green Hills Mortuary with entombment to follow.
There will also be a time of sharing to follow at Chicago for Ribs in San Pedro.
