Editha F. Castillo

Editha Figuracion Castillo passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 76. She was born in Asingan, Pangasinan, Philippines on November 25, 1948 to her mother, Eugenia Figuracion, and father, Quirico Figuracion. She immigrated to the United States in the late 1970s and married Herbert Castillo in 1982. They had three children, raising them together until Herbert’s untimely death in 2001. Edtha is survived by her children Janine Naguiat (eldest daughter; married to Jayzar Naguiat), Andrew Castillo (son; married to Elisha Martin), and Myrna Dee Kikuchi (daughter; married to Dean Kikuchi), her grandchildren Zara & Eleanor Naguiat, Aaron Castillo, and Anthony & Mari Kikuchi, and her siblings Loida Vicencio (sister), Joel Figuracion (brother), and Raquel Bautista (sister). Editha led a life of care and giving. She served as a registered nurse in San Pedro for almost 40 years, caring for numerous patients and assisting various doctors. She then retired in 2015 and soon after assumed her most prized role as grandmother to her five grandchildren. She was often known for providing delicious entrees and baked goods for different parties and work functions. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:30PM - 8:30PM on Friday, January 17, 2025 in the Green Hills Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the Green Hills Memorial Chapel, followed by interment, where she will be laid to eternal rest with her husband.
