Edith Goddard Catlin
July 13, 1928 — November 7, 2015
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Edith married her late husband in 1949 after they met at a summer job near Lake Tahoe... love at 1st sight. Edith devotedly cared for George over his last 11 years of life as he suffered through heart surgery, several strokes, osteoporosis, diabetes and cancer.
The family is so grateful that they were both able to spend most of their time living out their lives in the comfort of their home.
Edith is survived by her children: Robert (Teresa), Susan, Ann, Jon (Crystal), and Sally (Gabe Filippeli) Catlin along with 8 beautiful grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Her life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 5th at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Green Hills Memorial Park.
