Dorothy Marie Stevens

Dorothy Marie Stevens passed away on January 18, 2023, in Garden Grove, CA at the age of 98.

Dorothy, who went by Marie, was born in 1924 in Grafton, West Virginia, to parents Zella B. and Lillie Ruth (Morris) Satterfield. Marie was the oldest of five children. Her brothers Arnold, Earl, and Lawrence preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Ruby Guthrie, of Grafton, West Virginia.

Marie was a widow. Her husband, Harold Ray Stevens, passed away in 1979. They had three children. The youngest, Nancy Ruth Stevens, passed away in 1971 at the age of ten years old.

Marie is survived by her son, Ronald Stevens, daughter-in-law Michelle Stevens, daughter Deloris Duteau, granddaughter Laura Ruetz, and grandson J.R. Stevens, and his wife, Taylor.

Marie was a member of Journey South Bay Church and found comfort in her faith. She was deeply loved and is greatly missed.
