Dorothy M. Ladd

Dorothy passed away on Saturday, October 26th 2013 in Torrance, CA. The family held a private Memorial Service on Monday, November 4th at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. A second generation native Californian, she was born in April 1923. Dorothy is survived by Earl, the love of her life and husband of 69 years; two daughters, Cheryl (Ken) and Robin (Rick); four grandchildren, Michael (Erika), Matthew (Sara), Jackie and Connor and four great-grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Ben and Logan. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Dorothy served as a volunteer for over 40 years at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and was a member of the Las Amigas where she enjoyed participating in the annual holiday festival.
