Dorothy Ann Egger

Heaven received a beautiful angel this week. Dorothy Ann Egger of Manhattan Beach, CA age 88, passed away on the 13th of November 2023 at 5:22am at Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital after suffering a stroke.

Dorothy was born in Lynndyl, Utah to William and Esther Coleman on February 17, 1935. She was the oldest of 5 siblings. brothers Veron, Billy and Greg and sister Janice. She married her sweetheart Homer Carl Egger on June 25th 1956 They moved from Utah to California and settled in Manhattan Beach where they raised their five children, Darla, Debra, David, Rebecca and James. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Homer, brother Vernon, daughter Debra Flores and granddaughter Heather DeWinter. She loved going to church and being a part of the Manhattan Beach Ward or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in many capacities, but her longest and favorite position was being the Chorister. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors, baking, singing, bowling, all forms of dancing and spending time with her beloved family.

Dorothy is survived by her sister Janice Bangert, brothers, Billy Coleman and Greg Coleman, children Darla (Kelvin) DeWinter, David Egger, Rebecca Chahine and James Egger. Grandchildren: Anthony (Jennifer) Gates, Gina (Michael) Guerrero, Amberle DeWinter, Ashley (Joseph) Shields, Shannon Flores, Jessica Flores, Rhianna Chahine and Jason Chahine Great-Grandchildren: Clyde Guerrero, Zoe Guerrero and Jubilee Villalta
