Dorothy Day Elmore passed away on March 31, 2017 in Bellingham Washington at the age of 80. She was born on January 17, 1937 in Galena Kansas to Anna May Houston and Newton Jasper McGuire.
Dorothy was a beloved mother, grandma, great grandma, aunt, sister and friend. She lived a full life of love and laughter and will be deeply missed by her surviving children Robert Day/Svetlana, Teresa Weber/ Rodney and Tina LaBree/Kevin and her grandchildren Wendy, Mark, Kristi, Summer, Kris, Kassie and her great grandchildren Mckenzie, Jayce, Matthew, Gavin, Megan, Mallory, and Mason.
Throughout her life she enjoyed crocheting, shopping, playing slot machines, being with family and of course Elvis Presley. She had a caregiver's heart and enjoyed taking care of those she loved that were ill. She really missed her calling in life as a nurse. She will always be remembered by her sense of humor and infectious laugh.
