Donovan Cyrus Nourayi

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother and son, Donovan Cyrus Nourayi, who left us on September 5, 2023. He was 32 years old.

Dono, as he was affectionately called by friends and family, was born on March 21, 1991, to Julie and Mehrdad Nourayi in Torrance. He grew up in Rancho Palos Verdes, where he attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. He later received his bachelor’s degree in business at Loyola Marymount University.

Donovan was a loyal, goofy, and charismatic fun man who had a great sense of humor. He loved to put a smile on everyone's face by being in touch with his inner child. He was a loving brother who was always there protecting and caring for his three younger sisters whenever they needed him.

In his free time, Donovan enjoyed playing pool, cooking for himself and his family, and playing with his cat, Lily. He was very extroverted and embraced his imagination in all stages of his life.

Donovan is survived by his parents, Julie and Mehrdad Nourayi, his siblings Darcey Peindl, Kelsey Nourayi, and Claire Hernandez. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on October 23, 2023, at Green Hills Memorial.
