Donna Mae Boyd

She Accomplished Her Life's Goals-Married to One Man Forever and Being a Family. Donna Mae Boyd, the wife of Robert C. Boyd, for 52 years, passed away on March 23, 2014. Donna and Bob have been residents of Carson, Ca for 48 years, where they raised their four sons: Jim, Tim, Pudgy/William and David. Donna believed that happiness was being a family which was so demonstrated by her devotion and commitment to being a wife and mother. Donna is survived by her husband, her four sons and her daughters-in-law Brenda and Sonia. She is survived also by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law Bette Boyd and Dennis Boyd her brother-in-law.
Donna wanted her loved ones to live, laugh and love. Her house was open 24/7 for family members and friends to come over and have a cup of coffee and warm conversation. The family wants to deeply thank Trinity Hospice Care of Cerritos for the constant care and sensitivity they brought to Donna and the family during this difficult time when it was so needed. They also want to thank Dr. Smith and Dr. Hool of Health Care Partners for their care and support. A celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 3pm at Green Hills Chapel followed by a graveside service and a reception also.
