Donald Ray Grimm, Jr.

On Thursday, July 6, 2023, Donald Ray Grimm, Jr. passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 84. Donald was born on September 19, 1938, in Rochester, PA to Donald and Evelyn Grimm.

He graduated from Rochester High School in Rochester, PA in 1956 and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Cal State University, Long Beach in 1974.

A tour of duty with the U.S. Army brought him to Fort MacArthur in San Pedro where he met and married the love of his life Antoinette Spinosa on October 15, 1960.

Don worked for Southern California Gas Company in Information Technology for 38 years before retiring in November 2000. Don’s passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Johnny Cash was only surpassed by his Love for family and friends. He will be missed more than words can say..

Donald is preceded in death by his father and mother Donald and Evelyn Grimm. He is survived by his wife, Antoinette, his children, Michael Grimm (Amada), Daniel Grimm and grandchildren, Sarah, Jason, Katie and Alexander, his brother Robert Grimm (Cindy) and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Donald’s memory to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation.
