Don Lee Roberts

Don Lee (Flores) Roberts passed away May 28, 2020 in Long Beach, CA after a sudden illness. He was born in Hollywood, CA in July 1937 to Charlotte and Donald (Flores) Roberts. As a young boy he lived in several different states before settling in Seal Beach during junior high. He graduated from Huntington Beach High School, class of 1955. He served in the US Army 1960-1962, stationed in Berlin. He was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He enjoyed auto racing, classic cars and good Mexican food. A long-time resident of Long Beach, he really enjoyed living his final years in the close-knit neighborhood of Belmont Shore. He was pre-deceased by his parents, 1 son, and long-time partner Sheila Schaeffer. He is survived by 2 daughters, 1 son, several grandchildren, friends and caring neighbors. Donations in his memory may be made to the Seal Beach Animal Care Center.
