Dominador ("Dom") R. Domingo, 69, of San Pedro, California, passed away on July 16, 2013.
Visitation and viewing will be held at 5:00PM-7:00PM on Friday, July 26, 2013 at Green Hills Memorial Park (in the Chapel) followed by a Vigil Service at 7:00PM.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in San Pedro. Father Manuel Bravo of Mary Star of the Sea will be officiating. Burial services will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park (Coral Gardens).
Dom was born in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on June 18, 1944. He received a B.A. in Economics & a B.A.in Geography from CSU Long Beach.
Dom was married to Virginia Domingo on December 28, 1968. They were married almost 45 years.
Dom worked as an Account Executive at Southern Pacific Railroad for 18 years. He owned a corporate travel agency, Uniglobe Prime Travel for 7 years. He was a teacher for L.A. Unified School District for 5 years. Lastly, he worked as a Real Estate Agent for Remax & Keller Williams for the last 12 years. He enjoyed golf, movies, traveling (especially cruising), watching basketball (especially UCLA Bruins & the LA Lakers with Virginia), watching the grandkids' basketball practice and games, and spending time with the family – especially the grandkids. He was also actively involved in Knights of Columbus as a Grand Knight.
Dom is survived by his wife (Virginia), his mother (Juliana, "Nana"), his children (Darrin & Michelle), in-laws (Kelvin & Liza), and his grandchildren (Dylan, Ryan, Tyler, & Justin).
Dom is preceded in death by his father (Brillante, "Tata").
