Dick Hiebert

Dick Hiebert, (Marvin Richmond Hiebert), beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center on July 28th. Known for his heart-warming smile, Dick enjoyed life to the fullest with his wife of 36 years, Paulette. He enjoyed traveling to far-off places on birdwatching expeditions, golfing, square dancing, and especially being with his grandsons Kai and Kean. Dick was born in L.A. on November 12, 1939, attended school in the South Bay, and went on to study marine zoology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo before joining the Navy. He owned and operated El Dorado Dental Lab for 30 years. His family will miss him dearly, including wife Paulette, daughter Tori Takeuchi with her husband Wes and two sons, sister Barbara (George) Mayer, and their three children and seven grandchildren. Memorial service to be held August 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes.
