Diane Caroline Kuecker

Diane C. Kuecker, 68, passed away on March 30, 2023. She was born in San Pedro, CA, to her parents, Kenneth C. and Donata E. (Rennhack) Kuecker, the second of five children. She was a lifelong resident of Torrance, CA and Rolling Hills Estates, CA.

She attended local schools and graduated from South High School, where she was an excellent student-athlete. She excelled in playing basketball and softball. She competed in school and Torrance City Parks recreational leagues in multiple sports. She graduated from California State University, San Bernardino, in 1977 with a B.A. in History. She retired from United Airlines. Diane was a fun aunt to her niece and nephews, and enjoyed spending time with them and will be missed.

Diane was a devoted Christian and had a strong faith having been confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Redondo Beach, CA. She also liked to travel and had visited many National Parks and historical sites throughout the United States. She was especially proud she had visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Diane is survived by her siblings: Cindy (Jim) Patton; Chris (Karen Schoenbaum) Kuecker; Bruce Kuecker; and Laurie (Chris Kern) Kuecker. Her niece and nephews: Robert Kern; Brian Kern; Kenny Patton; Katie Kern; Nick (Rebekah) Patton and their sons Joseph and Elijah.

Services and Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Visitation will be Monday April 17, 2023 from 9AM to 1PM. Chapel service will be at 2PM. Graveside burial service immediately following Chapel Service.
