Diana K. Shigaki

Diana Shigaki died in the early morning of July 18, 2011 in San Pedro, CA. She was born in Chicago, IL on March 12, 1947 to Fred and Kathy Shigaki. Diana grew up in Gardena, CA, graduating from Gardena High School and Long Beach State. She worked for the County of Los Angeles for 31 years, retiring in 2001. In retirement, Diana enjoyed exercise class at Bogdonovich Park, the Ikebana class at the South Coast Botanical Gardens and travel throughout the U.S. and Europe. Diana is survived by her brother Roger "Gary" Shigaki of Atlanta, GA, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is missed by her longtime friend, Tom Simundich.
