Dennis D. Lane

Dennis D. Lane passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 82. Dennis was a life-long resident of San Pedro. He grew up on 11th Street, the son of Harry and Josephine Lane. He attended San Pedro schools including San Pedro High School and was a proud member of The Sires social club. Dennis served his community as a little league coach, a volunteer at Holy Trinity Church and School where he founded the Jack O’Keeffe Golf Classic, and a board member at the Boys & Girls Club of the Los Angeles Harbor – an institution that served him as a boy. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years – Noreen, his three sons Dennis (Brooke), Scott (Heather), and Brad (Victoria), seven grandchildren Andrew, Kate, Matt, Ella, Tatum, Sam and Maggie, the Korthe and Medina families, the remaining Sires, the doughnut shop boys, and countless friends. A Funeral Mass is set for March 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, interment and reception to follow. Rosary on March 20, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at Green Hills.
