Dechkhoun Vahanian

May 19, 1920 — February 17, 2012

Dechkhoun, the daughter of Nazareth and Sayni Djerejian was May 19, 1920 in Turkey and passed away peacefully on February 17, 2012 in Sylmar, California with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by Thomas, the love of her life and husband of 50 years and son, Nazareth Vahanian. Dechkhoun is survived by her three children, Silva and husband, George Postik, Mary and husband, Tony Derparsekian and Hagop and wife, Samia Vahanian; daughter-in-law, Silva Vahanian; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes.
