David J. Torrez

David J. Torrez, the son of David and Irene Torrez, passed away on April 12, 2013 at the age of 49. He was born on December 5, 1963 in Harbor City, California and had been a long time resident of San Pedro. He worked as a longshoreman (ILWU- local 13) for 26 years. David is survived by his beloved daughters, Danielle (Omar) Ojeda and Angela Torrez; grandchildren, Hailie Torrez and Dominic Garcia; parents, David and Irene Torrez and siblings, Dolores Villa and Danny Torrez. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 11am at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
