David Stepanchak, born on April 22, 1961, in Columbia, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 12, 2025, in Los Angeles, California at age 63.
David spent most of his childhood and teen years living in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and enjoyed farm life there. He also played drums in the high school band and worked at the local pharmacy in town. David then went on to graduate from Elizabethtown College in 1983 before obtaining an MBA from the University of Southern California. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a successful career working over 30 years at George Smith Partners and a life filled with curiosity and passion.
David found joy in many pursuits, including riding his Harley, exploring the skies through a fascination with piloting helicopters, and indulging in the art of wine tasting. These interests reflected his adventurous spirit and appreciation for life's gracious offerings.
David survives by his loving wife, Kari; stepdaughters Kailyn and Kyla; stepson Zaib; brothers Richard and his wife Sharon, Tom and his wife Lynda, their children Kayla and Vee, and brother John. He was predeceased by their parents, Russell Stepanchak and Patricia George Stepanchak.
A memorial service to honor David’s life will be held on April 26, 2025, at Green Hills Memorial Park, located at 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The service will take place from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
