Daniel Carrasco

Daniel Carrasco passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12:05pm. A resident of Anaheim, California. Born, raised, and rooted in Torrance, California.

He is preceded by his devoted parents, Jesus and Ernestine Carrasco along with his loving brothers Andrew and Michael.

Daniel is survived by his daughters Tina Peterson- spouse Stephen Blozis and Toni Carrasco. His siblings: Rodney Carrasco & spouse Jean; Magdelena Carrasco; Patricia Thompson & spouse David; Robert Carrasco. His grandchildren: Jonni Carrasco, Amanda Peterson, Emily Peterson & Michael Larsen; David Rios & spouse Devin; Erica Shepherd & spouse Jedidiah; and Daniel Rios & spouse Angelina. He was blessed with 8 great-grandchildren Ashley & Bethany Fonseca, Terrian, Mason, & Liam Rios, Jaylee & Sawyer Shepherd; Christian Rios. God-daughters: Wendy Wolfe and Stephanie Thompson. As well as many other family members Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and grand-dogs Brody & Presley.


Daniel was a true FRIEND to all. He had a loving relationship with Sharon Carrasco. Life-long friendship of 73 years Jock and Joyce Cagaanan, friendship of 50+ years with Tony and Rose Perez, along with so many others he was privileged to know and share a laugh with.

Daniel’s passion was losing himself playing guitar and enjoying various types of music from blues, old rock, and anything that caught his ear. His other escapes were riding his motorcycle and being able to hit the road in his RV. His favorite sports were baseball, slowpitch, bowling, poker, and loyal fan of the Rams. Must not forget his other favorite Jack & Coke.

Out of everything in his life, he enjoyed laughing in the company of his family and friends the most.
