Crispina Antonio Alonzo, age 86, passed away peacefully on November 18th, 2019 at Vermont Healthcare in Torrance. She was born on October 26, 1933, as a twin to her sister Felicisima Antonio in Manila, Philippines to Marcelina and Jose Antonio.
Crispina or "Pinang" (known to many), migrated to the United States with her son to join her family and start a new life in San Pedro, California. She worked as a nursing assistant for over 14 years at multiple convalescent homes. She loved taking care of people. Not only did she show this love and care for the patients she took care of, she also demonstrated this unconditional love to her family.
Crispina had many hobbies she liked to do during her time off. She enjoyed many shopping adventures with her sister. She was very talented in crocheting and spent many hours in the kitchen with her mom cooking for family gatherings after she retired from being a nursing assistant. She really enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her cousins.
Crispina is survived by her son Enrico Alonzo (wife Cynthia); Sister-in-law Adelida Antonio; nephew Manuel Antonio (wife Jacqueline); niece Maria Alva (husband Michael); great niece Melissa Contreras; great niece Antoinette Bristol (husband Cesare); great niece Noelynne Antonio and great-great nephews Brody Bristol and Cesare Bristol Jr.
