**In Loving Memory of Corrine Victoria Larson** Born on July 25, 1946, Corrine
Larson passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024. She was preceded in death by her
beloved parents, Virginia and Rudy Medina, and her younger brother, Jack Medina.
Corrine is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Leon Larson; her cherished son,
Stan Amesqua, and his wife, Irene Amesqua; and her treasured grandchildren, Stan and
Stephanie Amesqua. She is also survived by her brother, Eddie Medina, and his wife,
Eloise Medina; her sister, Becky Escandon, and her husband, Rick Escandon; and her

Bell right out of high school, dedicating 31 years before retiring early in 1996. Her
passions included spending summers in Carlsbad with Lee, antique shopping, and
spending time with her dear cousin, Irene Benavidez, and best friend, Rachel Richards.
Known for her heart of gold, she lived life to the fullest, and her spirit will be dearly
missed. We often said, instead of being a “Queen for the Day,” we would rather be
“Corrine for the Day.” Services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 2 p.m. at
Green Hills Memorial Chapel, followed by graveside services.
