Loved by all, he put family first. A fine provider, his forty-two year career at the University of Southern California evolved from the registrar's office, director of all operations at the University College (USC night school), Director, then Dean of Admissions, Governmental Affairs and fund raising. Instrumental in writing the first faculty handbook for the institution, he also finished his dissertation for PHD in Education, hence - Dr. Wedberg. He ushered in a new age of compassion in the admissions process; was loved by the students he counseled, respected by faculty and staff as well. A fine vacation with his family every year, he imparted his love for the outdoors with wonder and joy. He was a fine musician and composer, notably "Queen of the Angels Suite" performed by the Palos Verdes Symphony. He was president of the Symphony Association for a time and gave informative lectures to a packed house on program night. Versatile in his craft: he played jazz, popular classics, classically trained in technique and discipline on piano. He brought life to the party. Also a talented athlete, he loved golf, basketball and football; he was a skilled tennis player well into his eighties and played with lifelong friends locally. He was endowed with a great sense of humor, humility, generosity, and a deep sensitive understanding of the human condition. A knowing smile. . .
He leaves immediate family Elizabeth (wife), 4 sons: Conrad, Carl, James, Roger. 90 years young, we will miss him.
