Concepcion Ponce

Concepcion Ponce, the daughter of Romolo and Jovita Torrez, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2014 at the age of 100. She was born on May 1, 1913 in Mexico and had been a long time resident of Carson, California. Concepcion is survived by her beloved children, Frances Ramirez, Andrea Cordova, Chris Ponce, Virginia Hernandez, Gloria Ponce, Arthur Ponce, Helen Carrillo, Richard Ponce and Kathy Barral. She is preceded in death by seven children. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 3-8 p.m. at Green Hills Mortuary with a rosary at 7 p.m. A church service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1050 West 163rd Street, Gardena, CA 90247 followed by interment at Green Hills Memorial Park.
