Clyde Anderson Collins passed away on May 28, 2015. He was 87 years old. He served in the US Army for three years and was stationed mostly in Europe. After his military service, he obtained his engineering degree and went into business. He started the Sonora Manufacturing Company in Gardena. He was good and kind to his employees and remained good friends with them even after he retired. He loved horses, fancy cars, and was very generous and kind to friends; even those he barely knew. He is survived by his loving wife Edilberta, step-daughter Rodenne Shane, sons Clyde Collins, Jr. and Clyde Anthony Patina-Collins, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A prayer and rosary service will be held at the Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 10th from 6-8 PM. Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 13th at 3:00 PM at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will be on Friday, June 19th at 10:00 AM at Green Hills Memorial Park.
