Clifford J Boots

Cliff Boots was born 11/18/1922 in Kansas and came to Torrance in 1947. He was married to Dolly Boots and this September they would have celebrated 80 years of marriage. Cliff was proud to be a WWII Army veteran. He worked nights as a young man at Foster Freeze Ice Cream in downtown Torrance and worked for Torrance Plumbing while going to night school to become a journeyman plumber. He then became a Plumbing Contractor and later purchased Torrance Plumbing, retiring in 1998. Cliff loved to watch and play tennis, but his retirement did not last long. In 2001 he started Cliff Boots Plumbing and was in business until 2019.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife Dolly and his daughter Carol Boots Magee. His son, Larry Don Boots predeceased him. He has 4 grandchildren; Catherine Elizabeth Magee Wolfe, Andrew Gregory Magee, Kelly Denise McCracken and Christine Anne Willfong, 2 great grandchildren; Coltong Duane Willfong and Garrett David Willgong, and 1 great great grandson; Mason Lee Willfong. Cliff loved to work and worked every day until he was 99. He passed away peacefully at Caring House in Torrance.
