October 3, 1943 – December 11, 2024
It is with deep sadness and profound love that we announce the passing of Clarita A. Cabrera, who peacefully left this world at the age of 81 on December 11, 2024. Born on October 3, 1943, in Pampanga, Philippines, Clarita led a remarkable life filled with love, dedication, and grace. She was the beloved widow of the late Nicolas Cabrera, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage and raised four wonderful children.
Clarita's life was defined by her unwavering faith, her compassionate heart, and her commitment to family. She and Nicolas moved to the United States in 1993, seeking better opportunities for their family. In their new home, Clarita continued to be a pillar of strength and kindness, working as a wheelchair attendant at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) for 12 years, where her warm spirit and helpful nature earned her the affection of all who crossed her path.
Clarita was a woman of deep prayer and an unshakeable positive attitude. Even through the challenges of her courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer, she remained in good spirits, always showing love and support to those around her. Her strength, faith, and joy in life were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Clarita is survived by her four children: Nelson (and his spouse), Angie (and her spouse), Nestor (and his spouse), and Noel (and his spouse). She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, leaving behind eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who adored her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will forever live on through them.
Clarita will be remembered not only for the love she gave but for the lives she touched with her compassion and unwavering faith. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Rest in paradise, Ma. Thank you for taking care of us and loving us unconditionally. You are forever in our hearts.
