Chiye Shimane

Chiye (Fujiwara) Shimane passed away on May 26, 2019 at the age of 83. She was born on May 2, 1936 in Torrance, CA and was a longtime resident of Gardena, CA. Predeceased by husband Bert Shimane. Chiye is survived by her daughters Carolyn (Lantz) Campbell and Naomi (Curtis) Kaneshiro; grandchildren Kyle and Kelly Campbell, Aubrey (Kei) Nishikawa and Lauren Kaneshiro; brothers Yukio Fujiwara, Tamotsu (Cathy) Fujiwara, Kiyoshi Fujiwara, sister Shinobu (Bill) McKinley; sisters-in-law Nellie Ishibashi, Helene Shimane, Kiyo Tawa, Keiko (Shiro) Ono; many nieces, nephews and relatives.

Visitation will be held 4-6 pm on Sunday, June 9, 2019 in the Villetta Suite of Green Hills Mortuary. Funeral services will be private.
