Charles J. Picker

A former resident of Redondo Beach, passed away Feb. 23, 2016, in Pasadena. He was born Dec. 25, 1920, in New York, to parents Charles and Helen Picker. He also resided for many years in Torrance, and Tehachapi, Ca. Charles proudly served in the Army Air Force in WWII, and continued his love of airplanes as an Aircraft Supervisor at TWA for 37 years. He was a member of Seacoast Church, Redondo, and Masonic Lodge#328. Married to Charlotte E. Picker (deceased) for 54 years. Survived by his children Carol Chiofalo of Roswell, GA, Charles Picker of Pasadena, Robert Picker of Torrance, and Charlotte H. Newkirk of Carson, Ca; also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. A private family service will be held March 12, 2016 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
