Charles Nemeth M.D.

Dr. Charles Nemeth, 82, passed away May 14, 2013 in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Born June 24th, 1930 in Ács, Hungary, he was the son of the late Károly and Johanna Németh. After escaping Hungary in 1956 during the Hungarian Revolution, Charles came to the United States and earned his medical degree from George Washington University in DC. He had a successful private practice for 37 years as an obstetrician/ gynecologist at Torrance Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his 3 children, Carl, Johanna and Gabor; as well as his sister, Paula and her children in Hungary. Funeral services will be held at Green Hills Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, May 22nd at 1pm. Reception to follow.
