Charles "Chuck" Hice Henderson, Jr.

Chuck Jr. passed away at the age of 90. He was born and raised in San Pedro where he later graduated from Narbonne High School. Chuck served in the Navy during World War Two on the U.S.S. Portland CA-33. Upon returning from the war, Chuck found and married the love of his life Jane Florence, and were happily married for an amazing 55 years. Chuck then went on to be a longshoreman for 45 years with both Local 13 and 94, also becoming lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. Chuck and Jane then retired and moved to Lake Havasu, Arizona, where together they built their dream home. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife Jane Florence. He is survived by his three children, Cynthia (Krone Tremain), Mickey (Helen) Henderson, Chuck (Mary) Henderson, 7 grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren. Services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park in San Pedro at 12 p.m. - Friday February 19th, 2016.In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to City of Hope.
