Charles (chuck) Glenn, of Rancho Palos Verdes passed away on December 27, 2017, at the age of 78. Chuck was born in Gainesville, Georgia on December 3, 1939. his parents moved to Knoxville, Tennessee where he attended Fulton high school. After high school graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Mac Arthur in San Pedro where he met and married his wife on September 2, 1961. Shortly after they married he was recalled to active duty and was discharged on July 22, 1962. Later that year chuck began his career as a carpenter apprentice, advancing to project manager in just a few short years. He also had a general contractors license and retired in 2001. Chuck was an avid Nascar racing and Rams football fan. He went to Mcdonalds every morning except Sundays to meet with friends. After breakfast and lunch, he would sit in his garage and greet all the neighbors and their dogs. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly Glenn, two sons, Chuck Jr. and Richard (Cindy) Glenn, six grandchildren, eight great grand-children and he is preceded in death by his daughter, Cherie Glenn. Services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 29th, 2018 at 9:00 am with interment to follow.
