Cecilia Ríos nació el 22 de noviembre de 1951 en Tangancicuaro, Michoacán, México, hija de Jesús Ríos y Josefa Fernández, y nació a la vida eterna el 10 de diciembre de 2024, a la edad de 73 años, en Paramount, California, después de haber vivido una vida espiritual notablemente rica.

Cecilia realmente vivió la vida al máximo a través de los placeres simples, esos placeres fueron las joyas de su vida. Aquellos que la conocieron y la amaron recordarán su corazón lleno de gracia, su amor, su fuerza, su calidez y su intenso aprecio por la vida. Inspiró a quienes la rodeaban a perseguir sus pasiones con el mismo fervor. Cecilia abrazó la vida con un espíritu aventurero, fomentando el amor y encontrando alegría en actividades pacíficas que incluían un sentido de propósito y satisfacción. Su mayor amor era principalmente con Dios, asistiendo a la iglesia todos los domingos. También disfrutaba de las reuniones familiares, las vacaciones, caminar, ver películas, ver deportes, bailar, asistir a conciertos, hacer jardinería, viajar, la comida y las compras. Siempre serena y sonriente, independientemente del pasatiempo que estuviera disfrutando.

Cecilia era una mujer elegante, de pocas palabras, sencilla y amable, con un corazón enorme. Uno podía sentir un consuelo inmediato en su presencia positiva y alegre. Tenía un espíritu electrizante que cautivaba a los demás para brillar. Tenía una marca distintiva sobre su labio que la hacía innegablemente única y hermosa. Tenía un estilo propio, con una presencia eterna. Aunque su luz se haya apagado, su recuerdo, pasión y deleite vivirán para siempre en nuestros corazones.

Cecilia se casó a temprana edad y tuvo cuatro hijos. Había residido durante mucho tiempo en Long Beach, California. Su memoria será atesorada para siempre y su legado seguirá inspirando a las futuras generaciones de su familia. A Cecilia le sobreviven sus amados hijos, Lucía Aguilera, Magy Chávez, Ralph Chávez y Cecilia Ortega, varios nietos, amigos y su gatita Mireya.

El jueves 26 de diciembre de 2024, a las 11:30 a.m., se llevará a cabo una Celebración de la Vida y un Servicio Conmemorativo en la Capilla Conmemorativa de Green Hills, Rancho Palos Verdes, California, seguido del entierro y la liberación de la paloma blanca nombrada Cecilia.

Cecilia Rios was born to life on November 22, 1951, in Tangancicuaro, Michoacán, Mexico, to Jesus Rios and Josefa Fernandez, and born to eternal life on December 10, 2024, at the age of 73 in Paramount, California, after having lived a remarkably rich spiritual life.

Cecilia truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, those pleasures were the gems in her life. Those who knew and loved her will remember her graceful heart, love, strength, warmth, and intense appreciation for life. She inspired those around her to pursue their passions with equal fervor. Cecilia embraced life with an adventurous spirit, fostering love and finding joy in peaceful activities that included a sense of purpose and satisfaction. Her greatest love was primarily with God, attending church every Sunday. She also enjoyed family gatherings, holidays, walking, watching movies, sports, dancing, attending concerts, gardening, traveling, food tasting, and shopping. Always poised and smiling regardless of the pastime she was enjoying.

Cecilia was an elegant woman of few words, simple and kind, with a huge heart. One could feel immediate comfort in her positive and cheerful presence. She had an electrifying spirit that captivated others to sparkle and shine. She had a distinguishing mark above her lip that made her undeniably unique and beautiful. She had a style all her own, with an everlasting presence. Although her light has dimmed, her memory, passion and delight will forever live in our hearts.

Cecilia married at an early age and had four children. She had been a long-time resident of Long Beach, California. Her memory will be forever cherished, and her legacy will continue to inspire future generations within her family. Cecilia is survived by her beloved children, Lucia Aguilera, Magy Chavez, Ralph Chavez and Cecilia Ortega, several grandchildren, friends, and her cat Mireya.

A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. in Green Hills Memorial Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes, California followed by interment and special white dove release named Cecilia.
