Catherine B. Simcoe

September 16, 1918 — September 30, 2011

Catherine, the daughter of Walter and Arlene Breuilly, was born September 16, 1918, in Blossburg, Pennsylvania. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on September 30, 2011 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

A 54 year Peninsula resident, she was preceded in death by her husband, Desider “Dusty” Simcoe; they were married 55 years. Catherine is survived by six children; daughters Roberta (Andrew) Wilson, Courtney (Thomas) Guinn, and Keefe Collins; sons Desider (Dorothy) Simcoe, Geoffrey (Janice) Simcoe and Daniel (Dawn) Simcoe; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 6th at St. John Fisher Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations are made to Providence Trinity Care Hospice or another hospice organization of choice.
