Carole Jean Akbar

Carole Jean Akbar, 64, passed away on November 13th 2019 in Torrance, California. She was the wife of Syed Murtuza Akbar. They shared 43 years of marriage together.

Born in Inglewood, California and she was the daughter of Wilma Corrine and Larry Barton. She was employed at Alico Systems and worked as their CFO.

She was very involved with the Peninsula Education Foundation and served as co-president of the Palos Verdes Peninsula PTA. She enjoyed the Christmas holiday season, trying new restaurants, HGTV, traveling to Maui, and playing with her grandkids. She will be remembered for her kindness, beauty, generosity, and devotion to friends and family.
She is survived by husband Syed Murtuza Akbar, daughter and son-in-law Farah and Joey Villanueva, grandchildren Soraya and Zain Villanueva, sister Mary Ann Hollis and brother Larry Barton Jr.

The memorial service with be held on November 23rd 2019 at 9:00am at Green Hills Memorial Park 27501 Western Ave, RPV, CA 90275.
