Carol was born in Duluth MN on 1-20-57. At the age of two, parents Theresa and Paul moved to Minneapolis. At the age of eighteen Carol moved to Los Angeles where she attended Fairfax High School. There she met Charles Trutnik, whom she fell in love with and eventually married. The two moved back to Minnesota where she worked as an Executive Secretary for the Control Data Corporation. Carol then returned to Los Angeles and became very active in Alcoholics Anonymous. During this time she also worked at Wang Laborites for their C.E.O. Ed Yang. In the rooms of AA Carol met Farzad Nourai. They married and on 12-2-91 she gave birth to Ryan, THE LOVE OF HER LIFE. She and Farzad raised Ryan and then divorced, however they remained close even when he became ill later in life. Later Carol befriended Manoochehr Shadram whom she was married to briefly. Carol enjoyed traveling, especially her adventures to Europe and her Road Trips with Ryan.
Preceded in death by Sister Nancy Lynn, Grandparents Stella & Henry (Duluth, MN), Dr. John and Cecilia Lepak (St. Paul, MN). Survived by Mother Theresa Parr (St. Paul, MN), Son Ryan Nourai (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), Aunt Mary Johnson, Uncle John Lepak (St. Paul, MN), Cousins JoAnn Bauers (who held a special place in her heart and her life), and Steve Hero, as well as other Minnesota cousins and their families.
Carol was of amazing strength and character. Courageous, compassionate, generous and kind. Brave to the end. Regardless of circumstances in life; Carol always knew to Love, Laugh, and Dance. She will be deeply missed.
