Carmen D. Raspe

Carmen, the daughter of Francisco and Josefa Devesa, was born on December 12, 1934 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in Torrance, California. Carmen lived a full and rich life, including raising a loving family and helping her friends whenever the need arose. She was successful in her career, which included starting and operating several successful businesses, but her true success was in how she affected those in her life. Carmen touched the lives of all the people she met, and everyone around her was enriched by her presence. She is survived by Esteban, the love of her life and husband of 52 years; her two devoted sons, Steven and his wife, Kristina Raspe, and James Raspe; her two beautiful grandsons, Jacob and Lucas Raspe; sister, Mabel and husband, Ricardo Rizzo, other family and friends. A celebration of her life and memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. Interment immediately following the service.
